New Music Video: David Guetta Featuring Nicki Minaj 'Turn Me On'

The official video clip for producing wizard, David Guetta, and his current muse, the one and only Nicki Minaj, has arrived.  For all of those that were left with a bad taste in their mouths from the awkward 'Stupid Hoe' visual, perhaps this might be something to prevent you from penalizing the rap diva altogether.  Check out the unsual and more intriguing clip below.  It seems deserving of an A for effort.

Brandy (Behind The Scenes Of "The Game")

The multi-talented Brandy was on the set of "The Game" hanging out with the 90's Nickelodeon star Kel Mitchell (from the 'Kenan & Kel Show'). He took the time to film a little behind the scenes goofing off during their down time.  Mitchell is now joining the cast and will be guest starring on upcoming episodes. Mary J Blige Celebrates 'No More Drama' 10th Year Anniversary

The Queen of Hip Hop Soul has reached a milestone with her 4th recording 'No More Drama'.  Jerry Wonda along with Mary J Blige have made a video ( Wondasode #16) to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the re-release of the album, which was released August 28, 2001 and has sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide.  Blige won a Grammy award for "Best Female R&B Vocal Performance" for her song 'He Think I Don't Know' (from the album).  This is certainly one of Mary J Blige's best offerings.  We Congratule her on fine work that has proven to stand the test of time.

Ciara Finds A New Direction For Album #5

Ciara seems ready to switch gears just a bit for her upcoming 5th studio album.  The dancing machine wants to enlist LMFAO's 'Party Rock Anthem' producer David "GoonRock" Listenbee (who's the master mind behind the #1 smash hit,  'Sexy and I Know It' for the same band) for his musical genius on her next project.  Ciara has made it no secret that she's looking for her own anthem to revive her career.  Under the newfound guidance of L.A. Reid at Epic records, Ciara seems certain to have a new sound that will be a departure from the signature sound her main producer in previous years, The Dream, has created for her. This may be the beginning of a strong new era for Ciara, and it will be interesting to see if this change will prove to be good for the talented diva.

Bow Wow Tax Evasion Troubles

It's being reported that rapper Bow Wow might be in some financial debt.  In an active investigation it appears that he's avoided paying taxes for the third time and has 3 liens against him currently. The first stems from unpaid taxes from 2006 which resulted in a tax lien in Florida.  It's in the amount of  $91, 105.61 (which is still owed as of today).  Now 2 additional liens filed January 9th in Georgia have been cited, 1 in 2008 for 15, 279.62 and another in 2010 for $19, 700.91.  This has the total accumulated debt reaching $126, 086.14.  We hope to see Bow Wow getting a handle on his fiances and hopefully employing a competent person to manage his money better.

Chris Brown and Rihanna were caught leaving the same night club in West Hollywood last night.  As you can see both had a huge smile on there faces and it looks like the two had a good time.  No word on if the two exchanged any words or photos from inside the club.

Whitney Houston and Jordan Sparks On Set Of Sparkle

Pop diva Whitney Houston is returning to the big screen in a major way this year.  She's starring in the 1976 remake of the classic musical 'Sparkle'.   In the film, she plays the mother of her co-star, Jordan Sparks character.  This movie will mark Houston's first big screen role since the 1996 hit movie 'The Preachers Wife', where she played opposite Denzil Washington.  Sparkle is scheduled to opens in theaters worldwide on August 10th.  We're all super anxious to see Whitney on the big screen again. Beyonce, Chris Brown, Adele Lead Nominations For NAACP Awards

The 2012 NAACP Image Awards nominations have been announced and new mommy, Beyonce, leads the bunch.


Beyonce scores four total nominations in categories that range from “Outstanding Female Artist” to “Outstanding Album” for her critically-acclaimed latest set, '4'. Her Columbia labelmate, British soul singer Adele, lands two nominations.  Adele has one for “Outstanding Song” for her smash 'Someone Like You' and another for the song’s music video.




Like Adele, r&b/pop prince Chris Brown picks up a pair of nominations. He’ll face competition from Bruno Mars, Cee-Lo Green and more in the “Outstanding Male Artist” category and he’ll fight it out with the Mighty B in the ”Outstanding Album” category for his album F.A.M.E..

When is an artist truly in their prime?  Is it when they're at their own personal best or when their albums are flying off the shelves?  It's more to it than artists' peaking in the sales department.  Sometimes that goes hand in hand, but it's several different factors that go into measuring all the components that reflect progression and evolution.  Forget numbers and sales, the focus is quality in creation, abilities, growth and overall production and music. Occassionally atrists may have reached their highest potential early in their careers and that doesn't mean their work afterwards wasn't top-notch stuff.  It's simply means that their best moment came close to the start of their run as recording artists.  We drew graphs below demonstrating what we find a few selected (80's - '10's) artists in music track records to be in terms of seeking out the period where they've obtained that mountain-top excellence. We use arrows to indicate if an album was better than the following, equal signs to indicate two albums that don't show significant growth and the arrow pointing downward displays where the cut-off point would be after artists reach their peak and decline. Madonna Talks About Lady Gaga On Good Morning America
